Meet the Captain

Born and raised by two avid fisherman in south Florida, Kurt Kintz has been around the water his whole life.

His career in the marine industry gave him the ability to travel throughout the states and also fish with some of the best captains and fishermen known in their industries today.

In the late 80s, Kurt started  fishing the Everglades National Park and 10,000 Island areas. Fishing these areas soon became his passion and focus - logging countless hours in one of the most diverse fisheries in Florida.

Starting his guide business in 2012 has enabled Kurt to utilize and share his 30 plus years of experience and passion with others.

Everglades National Park

Everglades National Park is a 1.5-million-acre wetlands preserve on the southern tip of the U.S. state of Florida. Often compared to a grassy, slow-moving river, the Everglades is made up of coastal mangroves, sawgrass marshes and pine flatwoods that are home to hundreds of animal species. Among the Everglades' abundant wildlife are the endangered leatherback turtle, Florida panther and West Indian manatee.
