Born and raised by two avid fisherman in south Florida, Kurt Kintz has been around the water his whole life.
His career in the marine industry gave him the ability to travel throughout the states and also fish with some of the best captains and fishermen known in their industries today.
In the late 80s, Kurt started fishing the Everglades National Park and 10,000 Island areas. Fishing these areas soon became his passion and focus - logging countless hours in one of the most diverse fisheries in Florida.
Starting his guide business in 2012 has enabled Kurt to utilize and share his 30 plus years of experience and passion with others.
Captain Kurt is a US Coast Guard Licensed Captain, member of the Florida Guides Association, and a supporter of National Association of charter boat operators.
INSHORE CHARTER RATES
Charter pricing is for up to 3 people .
A 4th passenger can be added to any charter for an additional $50.00 . Charters leave from Chokoloskee Island Resort and Everglades City depending on tides.
CHARTER RATES INCLUDE FISHING LICENSES, QUALITY FISHING TACKLE AND BAITS, CLEAN COOLER WITH ICE TO TRANSFER YOUR FOOD AND BEVERAGES INTO, CLEANING AND BAGGING OF CATCH .
As a patron of our charter, we ask that you purchase /acquire your own Everglades National Park Pass prior to meeting up with us. Please visit yourpassnow.com , If you already have your park entrance pass that's great! your all set.
Novice to experienced, Captain Kurts charters are tailored to each clients desires. If the mission is to keep the rods bent, put dinner in the box, or seek out the trophies, Captain Kurt will work to exceed your expectations.

If a customer wishes to cancel the charter within 7 days prior to the charter the full deposit will be refunded. If a customer is a no show or more than 15 minutes late they will forfeit their deposit.
In the event their is a mechanical issue, illness, foul weather, or winds above 20MPH and rain chances above 60% www.weather.com , a full refund of the deposit will be given. If you would like to reschedule we can certainly look at dates, times, and tides.
We accept cash, checks, and credit cards at the time of charter. A flat fee of $20.00 will be added to credit card transactions. A $100.00 deposit is required to book your charter. Please contact us to discuss dates, times, tides and what's biting

Everglades National Park is a 1.5-million-acre wetlands preserve on the southern tip of the U.S. state of Florida. Often compared to a grassy, slow-moving river, the Everglades is made up of coastal mangroves, sawgrass marshes and pine flatwoods that are home to hundreds of animal species. Among the Everglades' abundant wildlife are the endangered leatherback turtle, Florida panther and West Indian manatee.
One third of Everglades National Park is covered by water, creating excellent boating and fishing opportunities. Snapper, sea trout, redfish, snook, shark, mackerel, jacks, ladyfish, permit, triple tail and sheep head. There are plenty of opportunities no matter what time of year. Call today !
